NVLSP needs your help!

As an independent, non-profit, nonpartisan organization, NVLSP has helped veterans and their families for more than 25 years.

People often ask us, “How do you keep going? What keeps NVLSP and our staff and volunteers motivated?”

It's the letters we receive.

Letters from veterans and their survivors, men and women who quite frankly thought no one cared about them and what they were going through . . .

. . . until that special day when they learned that, thanks to the work we've been doing, not only do people care about them . . .

. . . but help is available to them -- real, meaningful assistance that makes it possible not only to improve their lives, but in some cases to continue their lives!

But it’s not only those letters that keep us going. There’s something far more pressing, far more driving, far more intense.

It’s the unshakable truth that there are thousands more veterans and veterans’ families who need help and aren't getting it.

In the thank you letters we receive, there is one thing that is mentioned more than anything else . . . the people we helped usually were totally frustrated with the way the government had been mishandling their benefit claim.

Many had given up any hope, had resigned themselves to the belief that there was nothing more they could do, and ultimately that no one cared. No one!

For many of them, the discovery that someone did care, someone does care, was as life-changing as the additional benefits they received.

We’ve helped thousands of veterans and veterans’ survivors receive millions of dollars in benefits that they would not otherwise have received.

And we’ve done it all without charging a single fee for those services -- not one cent and we never will.

But with thousands of vets and their families still in need of our help in securing their hard-earned benefits, our ability to serve is threatened by a serious lack of funds.

That's why we must rely on our friends and supporters to provide critical financial support so that we can continue in our efforts to help veterans and their families get the full measure of benefits to which they are rightfully entitled.

Your contribution today will make all the difference in the world.

Whether it’s $15 or $150, $50 or $500, your tax-deductible donation today will help us serve a family -- right now -- who is struggling to survive, frustrated with the government's mishandling of their claims for benefits.
